You don't need to know how to edit. You just need to know what you like.

What it edits

Talking heads, vlogs with B-roll, and quick trend posts. Vertical for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, or horizontal for YouTube. You get the finished MP4 and an editable CapCut project with your cuts, captions, hook, and sound effects. Motion graphics and effects come in the finished MP4 only.

What you need

• A computer. I use a Mac, and that's where it's tested. It's fastest on a Mac with an Apple chip (M1 or newer) on macOS 15 or newer. Older Macs work too, but the first setup takes about 1 to 2 hours. The kit is built to run on Windows, but I haven't tested the full setup there yet.
• The Claude desktop app on a paid plan. Pro at the very least. Editing uses a lot of your Claude usage, so if you edit often, look at Max. Check today's prices at claude.ai. This is a separate cost that goes to Anthropic, not to me.
• CapCut Pro on the same computer. That's what I use. I haven't tested the free version.
• A few GB of free space. The setup downloads about 2 GB.

After you pay
